Kites Announce Self-Release Of 'This Jumped-Up Boy In Livery' - Watch Video Now

London based indie-electro band Kites have announced that they will be self-releasing their brand new single ‘This Jumped-Up Boy in Livery' today.

Fronted by pop-poet Matthew Phillips, Kites consists of electronics expert Richard, guitarist Jasper, former Holloways percussionist Edwin. Their new single ‘This Jumped-Up Boy In Livery’ is released today and has already won the support of their dedicated fan-base, as well as receiving national plays on BBC 6 Music, XFM, Absolute and Amazing Radio.

Speaking of the track, Phillips says: “Never before have I had the audacity to pen lyrics that are so indulgently self-pitying – and, for me, that’s saying something. Let’s just say that it has been one of those months.”

The track also has a video to accompany, which deals with the relationship between theatre and reality. Visually, the idiosyncratic movement in the video was choreographed by actor Christian Roe and inspired by Charlie Chaplin's masterpiece ‘Modern Times’.
