Super-selling Scottish rockers Simple Minds have confirmed dates for a hefty and extensive 2013 UK tour, which will stretch from March, through April, and until May.
The chart-topping band, who enjoyed massive success in the 80s, kick off their tour in Carlisle’s Sands Centre on March 29th next year, and will make their way to venues in cities like Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Cambridge, Bristol, and more, where they’ll likely perform tracks from their forthcoming 16th studio album - and their highly-lauded back catalogue.
Classic songs like 'Alive and Kicking’, 'Sanctify Yourself', 'Don't You (Forget About Me)’, 'Promised You A Miracle', 'Waterfront' and 'Belfast Child' established Simple Minds with a global audience with a run of #1 albums including 'Sparkle In the Rain', 'Once Upon a Time' and 'Street Fighting Years', propelling them to supergroup status in the UK.
