The Killers Mark Tour Comeback With Two Epic London Gigs

American rockers The Killers restarted their interrupted UK and Ireland tour with a bang over the weekend with two massive gigs in London’s O2 Arena.

Performing in the English capital on Friday and Saturday night, the band smashed the two gigs despite frontman Brandon Flowers cutting short a gig in Manchester just four songs in earlier this week, after complaining of a sore throat. A second gig in the city the day after was also cancelled, with both now rescheduled to take place in February 2013.

Talking to the 20,000 strong London crowd on stage, Flowers stated that he was ‘feeling okay’, and that fans should ‘keep their fingers crossed’ in hope that his voice is able to finish both dates without any hitches. But, despite his slight doubts, the band knocked out two highly praised shows - with Twitter filling with celebrating fans.

The Saturday night set included a Flowers and guitarist Dave Keuning performing their own, shorter version of of U2’s ‘With or Without You’ - you can check out a tracklist of the second of the two gigs below, as well as a video of ‘With or Without You’.

The Killers head off to Belfast and Dublin next, before returning to the UK in February for their two rescheduled Manchester gigs. They then head to London in June next year for a massive gig in Wembley Stadium. If you need tickets to any of The Killers UK shows, check the dates and links below.
