Hailed as the most popular 2Tone band of their generation, The Specials have announced a brand new tour for May 2013. The Specials Tickets are ON SALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 7th December.
The Specials pioneered the new British ska sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Trailblazing across the charts, they racked-up 7 consecutive UK Top Ten singles between 1979 and 1981 before breaking up.
Reforming in 2008, original members Terry Hall, Neville Staple, Sir Horace Gentleman, Roddy Radiation, Lynval Golding and John Bradbury reunited to tour in celebration of the band's 30th Anniversary. Refusing to stay silent for too long, The Specials have confirmed a new string of dates for a May 2013 UK tour.
