Cornershop Unveil 'Every Year So Different' - Listen Now

British indie-rockers Cornershop have unveiled their brand new track ‘Every Year So Different’, as well as it’s beautiful new music video.

‘Every Year So Different’ will be available via all good retailers, but it also kicks off the second series of the Singhles Club - a total of 6 songs by Cornershop and Friends as part of the The Singhles Club subscription (£6 for 6 tracks). The track sees the band joined by Welsh duo Trwbador, and can be heard below.

Interestingly, this track was first teamed up with Sinéad O’Connor, but when Rolling Stone premiered it and Hot Press put it forward for Christmas #1 to challenge the X-factor, she declined any involvement in it. So, Cornershop quickly moved their boat back from Irish shores towards Wales to collaborate with much favoured up and comers Trwbador to create another song that sticks in your head like a Christmas day dessert and one to set you up with all the wholesome goodness you need for the year ahead.

Trwbador’s Angharad has a perennial voice similar to that of Claudine Longet, which simply states that Christmas may be here once a year but given what can happen in 365 days, and as we grow, it is never the same at the end of any year. To accompany the smoke filled chimneys of the Welsh Valleys are Northern Brass, Italian strings, and Human funk.

Check out the track below!
