The wait is finally over. Multi-Grammy winning, multi-platinum hip-hop superstar Lil Wayne has confirmed his first Irish appearance at The O2 on Friday 8th March 2013. Lil Wayne Tickets are ON SALE 8AM TODAY, Thursday 13th December.
"You can’t compare any other artist out there to me,” the charismatic Lil Wayne rightfully declares. “They are them, I am me. Nobody can do what I can. I am the best at what I do and that’s everything.”
Arguably the most original, genre-redefining and best-selling hip-hop artist of the past decade, Lil Wayne is celebrated for his electric stage show and energetic live performances. In 2011, Lil Wayne lodged one of the top ten most successful tours of the year with his “'I Am Still Music' tour, which grossed $47 million with performances across three continents: North America, Africa and Australia. This forthcoming tour marks Wayne’s first time performing in Europe since 2009.
Lil Wayne is set to release his heavily anticipated tenth studio album, 'I Am Not A Human Being 2', in early 2013. The first single, 'No Worries' featuring Detail, is available now.
Support on this tour comes from Mac Miller. The rapidly rising star has gone from being a local sensation in his native Pittsburgh to selling out venues all across the United States and Europe. He is currently preparing his sophomore release 'Watching Movies With The Sound Off' which will be released in 2013.
