Download Festival To Announce Over 30 New Bands Next Week!

Download promoter Andy Copping has revealed that over thirty new bands will be added to the festival's 2013 line-up next week.

Confirming the news via his Twitter account, Copping revealed that the announcement will take place at 9am on Wednesday 16th January. Expect over 30 bands to be announced!


The newly announced acts will join an already impressive looking line-up which is capped by headliners Slipknot, Iron Maiden and Rammstein. Other acts already confirmed to perform include Bullet For My Valentine, Queens Of The Stone Age, Motorhead, Stone Sour and more.

Download Festival 2013 takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire from 14th - 16th June 2013.
