Radiohead's Thom Yorke 'Would Sue The Shit Out of David Cameron' Should He Use Their Songs

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has hit out at David Cameron, claiming he will ‘sue the shit out of him’ if he uses any of their music in his election campaigns.

Yorke often makes his views on serious matters - such as politics - known, and in a recent interview with Dazed and Confused magazine, he gives his views on David Cameron - and how angry he’d be should the Tory bigwig have the cheek to use his tracks for his campaigns.

“Politics is not a fun thing to write about,” Yorke told the magazine. “I can’t say I love the idea of a banker liking our music, or David Cameron. I can’t believe he'd like [Radiohead’s latest album] 'King of Limbs' much. But I also equally think, who cares?

“As long as he doesn’t use it for his election campaigns, I don’t care. I’d sue the living shit out of him if he did.”

Radiohead are apparently lining up some UK and European gigs for later in 2013, though it looks like it’ll be after summer at the earliest - with Yorke ruling out a set at Glastonbury Festival because they won’t have got their ‘shit together by then’.
