London’s rock legends The Who have returned to limelight once again this month, as tickets for their hugely-anticipated Quadrophenia tour, which sees them performing the seminal album in it’s entirety (as well as some Who classics!), fly out - earning them the #1 on Stereoboard’s Top 10 Hot Tickets chart this week.
This new concert version of 'Quadrophenia', personally directed by Roger Daltrey himself, focuses on the original album and replaces the narrative used in previous stage versions with powerful imagery projected on an array of massive screens, designed to support the music by setting it in the context of the history of the band.
Superstar rapper Eminem is the only artist of his kind in the Top 10 at the moment, holding the second spot after announcing gigs in Dublin’s Slane Castle and Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park. Eminem has a lot of new material and a tonne of hit singles to play out, and he’s rarely seen in the UK - so fans, don’t miss out.
Despite dropping two places to #3 this week, Mrs Brown tickets have been some of our highest-selling for the past few months, and haven’t left the Top 5 since the charts began. ‘For the Love of Mrs Brown’ is the brand new Mrs Brown stage production coming from Brendan O’Carroll and BAFTA award-winning sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys.
American rockers Bon Jovi - who sit at the #4 spot - have lined-up a tour of UK stadiums and festivals for this June and July, and have just been announced as the first headliner for 'Barclaycard British Summer Time', a brand new festival for 2013. They’re an incredible live act and their stadium gig tickets are cheap - don’t miss out on your chance to catch them this summer!
One Direction tickets are always in demand and the X Factor boyband have taken over the world in the past year. They kick off a fresh UK tour following recent album release ‘Take Me Home’ late this month, and as their spot in fifth suggests, tickets are still selling at a high rate!
Super-selling punk rock chick Pink drops two places to #6 this week, ahead of her UK arena tour this April in support of recent album ‘The Truth About Love’. Also touring in support of a new record are seventh place Stereophonics, whose eighth album ‘Graffiti on the Train’ hits shelves on March 4th.
Occupying the #8, #9, and #10 spots are three massive names, Robbie Williams, Justin Bieber, and Neil Young. Completely different but completely brilliant, they all head out on tours within the next four months.
