Bruce Springsteen Confirmed As First Act For Brand New Leeds Arena & Tickets

The Boss himself Bruce Springsteen has been confirmed as the first artist to perform at the brand new Leeds Arena.
Springsteen has been touring the world for the past couple of years, following the release of his super-successful album ‘Wrecking Ball’, which topped the UK and US Album charts upon release in March 2012.
Now, he’s been given the opportunity to christen the brand new £60million Leeds Arena - despite Elton John and JLS previously being thought to be the first acts to take to the stage. He’ll raise the brand new roof on Wednesday 24th July - tickets are on sale this Friday (February 22nd) and will cost you £65.00 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard.
According to Arena sales and marketing director Tony Watson, Springsteen requested to be the first man to perform. He said: “Springsteen has always expressed a love of performing in the UK and, from what I understand, any opportunity to put Leeds Arena through its paces was too much to resist. We’re more than happy to take orders from ‘The Boss’ on this occasion.”
