Arrows of Love have set June 3rd as the release date for their new single ‘The Knife’ via Urban Fox Records. The Hackney 4-piece have also announced a full UK tour starting this week that will see their incendiary live show explode in 12 cities before they visit Europe for shows and festivals.
Produced by singer/guitarist Nima Teranchi alongside co-producer Patrick Constable of Selfish C**T, ‘The Knife’ forms arguably the most suspenseful single lifted from their forthcoming debut album ‘Everything’s Fucked’ that will be released this summer. Teranchi explains:
“The Knife is a picture of bitterness after an unhealthy relationship. It's the feeling of powerlessness and twisted obsession, that leads to a kind of vengefulness, and a story where both main characters are sat in their own worlds thinking the same things - feeling out in the cold while the other one seems fine. That dark ability to open wounds is the only thing they have.”
Backed up with screaming new b-side track ‘So Very Predictable’, a raw, unbrushed rant about faceless opinion and unjust reasoning, Arrows of Love return with two incendiary slices of noisy punk fueled by their love of DIY ethics and art.
For the record, ‘The Knife’ was co-engineered by Rory Attwell of Kasms / Test Icicles / Warm Brains and Tim Cedar of Part Chimp. This single, released digitally and on limited edition 7” vinyl was also co-mixed by Richard Warren and mastered from Bob Weston of Shellac for ultimate sound performance.
