While She Sleeps have unveiled the video for their new track 'Death Toll', the exclusive Record Store Day offering which has been released as a limited edition 7” vinyl and as part of the repackaged digital album 'This Is The Six'.
Guitarist and songwriter Sean Long says:
“This track is a combination of all of our most dark and raw songs but with a new anthemic twist. This time it has such a distinct underlining demonic feel to it that I think will really set it apart from both 'The North Stands For Nothing' and 'This Is The Six. I have to admit the feel to this track was not intentional as it really did just come naturally which is how we have always written music. The one thing I will say is - If you like heavy music then you will not have a problem losing your fucking shit to this!”
The repackage (released earlier this week on April 22nd) will also feature re-workings of a few older Sleeps songs. Guitarist Mat Welsh explains:
“The alternative tracks we are recording are an amazing chance for us as a band to experiment and find out what we are capable of. The stuff we have already sounds killer and we have some surprises in store. Don’t worry - it’s still going to be Sleeps, just a different take on it.”
