Sharleen Spiteri - frontwoman of Scottish alt-rockers Texas - epically failed while recording the band’s new video for their track ‘The Conversation’ - faceplanting the floor while attempting to run around a corner!
Filming in Paris, Spiteri was hoping to quickly slip past a couple of pedestrians and fly around the corner - only for her feet to give way. Tumbling down, she got up close and personal with the pavement, and is lucky to still have her teeth in place!
She was rushed to hospital immediately and is now fully mended with barely a scratch to show for it. The hilarious video evidence is all that’s left as a reminder - and you can check it out below!
Texas shot the video for the new single in Paris, Glasgow and London. The video features internationally acclaimed actor and director Peter Mullan alongside Sharleen Spiteri - you can check out the proper video embedded below Spiteri’s fall!
‘The Conversation’ is the first single to be taken from their new album of the same name, which also features the Richard Hawley collaboration ‘Dry Your Eyes’. The single is released on May 13th and the album follows on May 20th - both through PIAS Recordings.
