Grammy nominated and multimillion selling Paramore have just confirmed details of a UK and Ireland tour for the autumn. This will follow the band’s appearance at this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend in Londonderry/Derry at the end of May.
The hugely-anticpated shows will be in support of Paramore's self-titled new album which was released in the UK last month. Speaking about the new album, Paramore say:
“The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us.”

This new album follows previous albums; 'All We Know Is Falling' in 2005 (certified Gold), 'Riot!' in 2007 (certified Platinum) and 2009’s 'brand new eyes' which went straight in at Number 1 in the UK upon release and also went on to be certified Platinum.
To celebrate the release of the new album, Paramore – singer Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York – gave a special intimate fan show at London’s Garage last month. Today, they announce their return to UK stages. Hayley says:
'We're so psyched to come back the UK and Ireland and play the new songs for everybody. See you there!'
