Undisputed originators of experimental postrock, Wire have announced dates for a September UK tour.
March saw Wire release 'Change Becomes Us', their thirteenth record since they started out with their 1977 debut 'Pink Flag. The album features songs based on ideas from 1979/1980 that were originally quick sketches for live performances.
Having virtually drawn the map of modern guitar effects, Wire are cited as heroes by such diverse acts as Fugazi, My Bloody Valentine, Black Flag, Guided By Voices, and Blur.
