Sheffield-based math-rockers 65daysofstatic are appealing for members of the public to help find some of their gear, after guitars and laptops were unfortunately stolen from their HQ.
The band, who release their sixth studio album and tour the UK later this year, revealed via a post on their blog that the ‘65HQ’ was broken into, and told fans that they’d lost two important laptops and ‘all of their best guitars’.
They wrote:
“Hi.
65HQ got broken into last night. We have lost two laptops and ALL of our good guitars. If you work in any second hand music shops in the North of England or, indeed, anywhere, it’d be great if you took a quick look at this list of things we are missing.”
Also stolen was a ‘bunch’ of wireless receiver packs and an Olympus E500 DLSR Camera. They’ve asked that anyone with information about the location of the missing items send them an email at mail@65daysofstatic.com.
Losing an instrument is never, ever a good thing, especially when it’s stolen, so we also appeal that if you find out anything about the whereabouts of 65daysofstatic’s stuff, you get in touch with the band. For more information on the items - such as serial numbers - check out the blogpost.
