Portland-based quartet 36 Crazyfists have announced a new set of UK shows for November.
The Alaska-bred melodic metal band 36 Crazyfists have released six studio albums, 'In the Skin', 'Bitterness the Star', 'A Snow Capped Romance', 'Rest Inside the Flames', 'The Tide And Its Takers' and most recently 2010's 'Collisions and Castaways.' The band are currently in the studio working on a new album and recently gave an update via their official Facebook page.
"There are certain things that this new record will require ... First thing is grabbing your favorite people, the ones that care deeply about the effects of music ...sitting in a room w a killer sound system or a shitty room w a shit system , but turn it up Fucking Loud, I've never been more proud of what we have created. It's a life story , a struggle, a survival and a conquest. From one sigh ofrelief to one acceptance of life's gnarliest dish.Something we have all gone through or will eventually go through but mostly it's just a solid jam of 4 boys channeling our friendship, our love for one another and how we traveled through time and space to spread our idea of original music to anyone that gave a fuck to listen....Can't wait for our people to get a piece of this..we love you. 36 Crazyfists will kick-off their UK tour at Oxford's O2 Academy on November 2, before visiting venues in Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol and Portsmouth. The tour closes with a show at London's Camden Underworld on November 14.
