Chart-topping singer Florence Welch, leader of Florence + the Machine, covered Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ at an intimate gig in a South London bar last night - you can check out the performance below.
Performing with Sourberry - who were hosting their annual party at the bar - during their soundcheck, she ripped through her own version of the #1 hit single. Welch also sang ‘Standing in the Way of Control’ by Gossip.
Spin reports that Sourberry said of the experience:
“[Florence Welch] hopped up on stage during our soundcheck and rocked out a couple of numbers with us while we warmed up.”
