Eighties pop star Belinda Carlisle has announced a handful of live dates for a UK tour in May 2014.
In December 1987, Belinda's album 'Heaven On Earth' was released and it's first single Heaven Is A Place On Earth hit Number 1 in the US as well as the UK and in many other countries. That was the starting point of her very successful solo career, which has included a nomination for a Grammy as Best Female Pop Vocalist.
In March 2013, Belinda released her first single in 17 years entitled Sun, an up-tempo electro-pop song, which was included on 'ICON', her new greatest hits album.
On September 9 2013 Belinda will be releasing a full length DVD and CD package titled ‘Live from Metropolis Studios’. The show at the legendary London recording studios was an intimate fan only show, featuring only 100 lucky fans in a studio environment. This will be available to all fans worldwide in two formats; a standard version DVD and CD presented in casebook packaging, and a deluxe limited edition DVD and CD featuring tons of pictures and an authentic signed picture which is only available via a 6week pre-order (closes on the 26th July 2013).
