It has been confirmed that Lady Gaga will return with a special performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25. The global megastar will use the performance to premiere the first single from her forthcoming album 'ARTPOP'.

It's official! Lady Gaga returns to the stage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on August 25th for the world premiere performance of the first single from ARTPOP!
Gaga recently announced release details for 'ARTPOP', which will hit shelves on November 11 in traditional formats and as an app for smartphones and tablets.
Pre-orders for the album - the follow-up to 'Born This Way' - begin on September 1, with a single slated for release on August 19.
The 2013 VMAs take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
