Gem Archer - guitarist of Manchester rockers Beady Eye - may not be back in action before the end of 2013, his wife has said.
Archer was hospitalised earlier this summer after suffering a serious head injury, which was later reported to be a fractured skull.
With the band having cancelled their appearance at V Festival - as well as a couple of other festivals - this month, fans are hoping he’ll make it back for their up and coming UK tour later this year. But, speaking via Twitter, Gem’s wife Lou has admitted that he may indeed be out of the game until 2014.
@JamesMoon_ thanks James.. I really don't know. He needs to mend, how long it will take I'm not sure. He's a tough cookie ☺ xxx
With hope, though, he’ll make a speedy recovery and will rock out with Liam Gallagher and co. this November. If you need Beady Eye tickets, check the dates and links below!
