One Direction's Zayn Malik Engaged To Little Mix Girlfriend Perrie Edwards

Teenage girls worldwide have been left devastated this week, after it was confirmed that One Direction’s Zayn Malik is now engaged to girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

A member of 1D’s female counterparts Little Mix, Edwards is said to be extremely happy with her engagement, although she’ll certainly have to watch her back now that the Directioners know. They’re one rabid fanbase and they definitely won’t be happy he’s off the market for good!

The pair have been dating for around a year and a half having met after Little Mix found success on The X Factor. Rumours of their engaement surfaced after Edwards was spotted with a ring at the premiere of One Direction’s new 3D biopic ‘This Is Us’. Things have since been confirmed by Perrie’s mother Deborah.

She told Real Radio:

“Yes, it's true. They got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely. It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It's just perfect and they get on so well together. It's just fabulous.”
