Arcade Fire Confirmed As Band Behind 'Reflektor' Campaign

Tuesday, 27 August 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Arcade Fire have confirmed they are the band behind the cryptic ‘Reflektor’ advertising campaign, following heavy speculation that Win Butler and co. were involved with it.

We reported details of the ‘Reflektor’ campaign earlier this month and have been waiting to find out whether the Montreal musicians were indeed behind it. The latest instalment of the campaign has confirmed our beliefs.

A massive poster featuring the Reflektor image was posted on a building in New York, with the words ‘Arcade Fire 9pm 9/9’ inscribed above it, leaving fans licking their lips in anticipation of what’s to come.

What exactly the band have in mind is still unsure. They could be planning a live performance, or may even be releasing new music. The mystery will remain until September 9.

What is known, is that their next album will hit shelves on October 29, with fans expecting ‘Reflektor’ as the album’s title. Are you excited for a new Arcade Fire record? Leave us a comment in the box below!
