Chase and Status Praise Nile Rodgers Following Studio Collaboration

Chase and Status have heaped praise on guitarist Nile Rodgers following their recent studio work together.
The duo are readying ‘Brand New Machine’, their third studio album, for release and have been working with a handful of talented singers, musicians and producers on the record, including Moko, ElliIngram, and Louis M^tters.
They’ve also started collaborating with Chic guitarist Rodgers, who recently hit #1 with Daft Punk on Get Lucky, and spoke very highly of him in a recent interview with Gigwise. Check out what the pair had to say:
“It's hard to put into words how amazing Nile Rodgers is and the success he's had. I think we first met him last year in Ibiza, he was playing after us. He came up to us, said he was a massive fan and 'I'd love to get in the studio with you'. I thought he was probably just being polite and whatever, a year later his management is trying to sort it out and immediately we jumped on it.
“We spent a couple of days just jamming out with the legend that is. He's a music genius but more than that the vibe, the positivity, the energy. Maybe at 4am in the morning we'd be flagging, saying, 'Let's call it a day' and Nile will say to keep going. That's what we loved about him and that's why he's so amazing. We've written some incredible tracks and we're excited that one of those could be on our album.”
