Chase & Status Preview 'Generic Everything' With Skrillex Collaboration Essa Ta Quente

Chase & Status have shared another track from their upcoming album.
Essa Ta Quente, a long overdue collaboration with Skrillex, finds the London dance duo stepping away from their trademark high-energy drum and bass sound to explore Brazilian rap and funk influences, with bouncing breakbeats, heavy 808s and a hypnotic vocal.
It follows earlier singles Gone Too Far featuring Debbie, and Disgruntled featuring J Hus and IRAH, in previewing the 10-track 'Generic Everything', due out on October 9. Other guest collaborators on the album include Little Simz, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, Col3trane, Saam Sultan, Finesse Kid and Ledbyher.
After headlining the Reading and Leeds Festival last month, Chase & Status will next play a mix of headline shows and festival dates across North and South America in October and November. Tickets are on sale.
Skirllex also recently collaborated with emerging UK garage star MPH on Mirage, and BEAM and Dilip on Naisha's single CONTRABAND.
