Manchester alt-rockers the 1975 have premiered their brand new single ‘Girls’.
The fast-rising quartet have finally finished their long-awaited and highly-anticipated eponymous debut album, and ahead of its release on September 2, the band have released a brand track from it as a free download.
It follows on from the release of the record’s lead single, Sex, earlier this week, and also precedes the second single, Settle Down, which is reportedly set for an October release.
Discussing the new album with Gigwise, frontman Matt Healy commented:
“It's our life in 16 songs. We've already written about 7 songs for the next album and we just released a 39 track debut deluxe album. We don't need to be releasing another album for a while but we're writing it for sure.”
