Avenged Sevenfold are fighting to land their first ever UK Number 1 with their new album ‘Hail To The King’, which was released this week.
As the announcement of this week’s album charts reaches its conclusion, the band are currently just over 3,000 copies ahead of their nearest challenger, Naughty Boy.
Boosted by some of their most positive reviews to date (check out Stereoboard's four-star assessment here), Avenged Sevenfold could well become one of the few metal bands to hit the top of the charts. Their previously highest charting album, 2010’s ‘Nightmare’ reached Number 5.
The band recently participated in a Q&A session to discuss the new album. The album can be purchased at iTunes and Amazon.
Avenged Sevenfold will follow the album release with their first UK and Ireland tour since 2011. The dates include their largest London show to date at Wembley Arena.

Sun December 1st 2013 - LONDON Wembley Arena
