London singer-songwriter Lily Allen is officially returning to music - telling her fans, ‘I’m coming back bitches!’
The chart-topper has been out of the music game for a couple of years, releasing her last record - the 3x platinum ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ - in 2009, following the birth of her two children Ethel and Marnie.
While some fans were wondering if she’d ever make a return, when you’re that popular and that talented, it would be rude not to - and this year, she has been teasing fans about her comeback with a series of hints and tweets.
Her admirers were happy to see her featuring on hit P!nk single ‘True Love’ earlier this year, and in what was a fantastic return to form, we were left wanting more from Allen - and now, via her favourite social networking site, she seems to have confirmed she’s back. Bitches.
She’s also updated her Twitter to @lilyallen - suggesting that she’ll be returning using the name we all became familiar with those few years ago, rather than her new married name Lily Rose Cooper. Her tagline reads ‘I have been making babies, i have been making songs. Stand By......’
