Jessie J has hinted at the possibility of an appearance on reality contest show The X Factor.
Despite previously featuring as a judge on BBC’s The Voice UK, Jessie has now suggested that an appearance on its ITV rival could be included in the promotion campaign for her second album 'Alive'.
Speaking about the show - which she described as ‘always fun’ - she told Digital Spy:
“I'd definitely go on to perform on The X Factor. I love being an artist on those shows, but I just don't feel comfortable being a judge. It's never me saying I hate those shows, it's just you have to do what represents you. I felt more comfortable as a coach and what the role required.
“But I'd always want to go on shows like that and perform if they'd have me - if me and Simon [Cowell] are cool? The X Factor is always fun, but it's very different to The Voice. It's a lazy comparison - they're completely different shows. They have different outcomes.”
The ‘Do It Like a Dude’ star continued:
“Who's to know if The Voice is going to work for a third series? Just because we want it to, doesn't mean it's going to. Who's to say my album is going to work? I'm going to work my arse off, but the people have the power.”
The 25-year-old releases her second album ‘Alive’ on September 23 and heads out on tour in support of it throughout October. Jessie’s latest single, It’s My Party, hit #3 in the UK charts - you can check out the official video below.
