The Pogues are to perform their classic album 'Rum, Sodomy & the Lash' in full during four special shows confirmed for December.
Never the most predictable of groups, the Pogues shuddered to a halt in the early '90s following lead singer Shane MacGowan’s relentless drug and alcohol abuse. Falling from triumph to tragedy the Pogues were remembered for their inspirational music and classic song-writing.
Having celebrated their 30th anniversary last year, the band have announced four dates in December for shows in Manchester, Glasgow and two dates at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. During the shows, MacGowan and co will perform the album 'Rum, Sodomy & the Lash' in full, along with other favourites from their back-catalogue.
