Fall Out Boy could be set to play more UK gigs later this year following their announcement of a show in London earlier this week, which sold out within seconds of going on sale this morning.
The rockers are set to hit London’s O2 Academy Islington on November 5 for a special show presented by music video site VEVO, having unveiled their plans on September 25. But, it seems as though Patrick Stump and co. could be set to announce even more UK shows for the festive season, at least according to some quotes from bassist Pete Wentz earlier this year.
He told Gigwise:
“I feel like we've gotten more support over here than we expected in any way, it's been such a great reaction on the radio and with kids so we will be [returning]. I think we've never done, like, the Christmastime shows and that kind of stuff, I'm sure those are on the dockets.”
The band are currently touring the US, and have lined-up Aussie gigs in October, a UK gig in November, and Mexican dates for January 2014, which leaves a healthy gap in December for a potential run of shows this side of the pond.
