Fields Releases New Single

Tuesday, 01 October 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Bristol producer Fields has released his new single Colours/On Your Own.

The new slice comes from Mako’s Utopia Music label, and is the third in a series of vinyl singles from the technically gifted musician, following last year’s Behind The Curtains/Elemental and 2011’s Foundations/Unspoken.

Its a-side, On Your Own, is a seriously bassy monster that Fields has created with a blend of old skool subs and a driving percussion line.

On the flip, Fields brings mellow, simpler alternative with Colours - but don’t let that fool you, it’s no filler track. A stupidly addictive stepper thanks to a catchy bass groove, it’ll have you nodding your head days after listening.

You can check both tracks out via the Utopia Music SoundCloud below - it’s a typically sweet release from Fields and can be bought on MP3, FLAC or 12” vinyl here. If you like it, grab it and support the artists!
