The Jonas Brothers have confirmed that they are to go their separate ways.
The news follows recent reports that Nick, Joe and Kevin were experiencing creative differences, after a "deep rift" resulted in the abrupt cancellation of their US tour.
Speaking about the trio's unanimous decision to disband, Nick Jonas revealed to People Magazine:
“I was feeling kind of trapped. It’s really hard to say ‘forever.’ We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”
The New Jersey brothers formed the band in 2005 and gained huge recognition through their association with the Disney Channel. They were due to release a fifth album later this year.
