Sting and Paul Simon have announced that they will embark on a co-headline tour of the US together.
Sting, best known for his time as frontman of the Police, and Simon, one half of iconic duo Simon & Garfunkel, previously lived in the same Manhattan apartment block, building a neighbourly relationship over the years.
Now, the pair have planned a headline tour which will see them performing together, as well as on their own, for lucky crowds across North America.
Sting told the New York Times:
“Paul and I both share this abiding curiosity about music and where it’s going. We don’t really know where this is going. We don’t really have a clue how this is going to pan out.”
The tour is set to kick off in Houston, Texas on February 8, and will see them performing In Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, New York, Orlando, and many other cities across the US and Canada, with tickets set to go on sale on November 12 and 19.
