Chlöe Howl, Ella Eyre and Sam Smith have been nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the BRITs 2014, with the winner set to be announced on December 12.
This award is chosen by a panel of experts, including national newspaper music editors, music websites, music and lifestyle magazines, plus the heads of music at major radio and music TV stations.
Past winners include Adele, Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Emeli Sande and Tom Odell. The nominations for The BRIT Awards 2014 will be announced in January, with specific details being announced in the coming weeks.
