Tickets are flying out the door for Bloodstock 2014, with both the Early Bird and Rock Society tickets selling out in record time. The VIP Serpents Lair tickets are now on sale and are expected to move similarly fast. If you like like a bit of luxury as part of your festival experience, or want to hang in the VIP bar with some of the bands playing, don’t hang around, pick up your tickets today!
As well as the usual ‘pitch-your-own-tent’ and ‘ready-pitched’ camping options in the exclusive VIP campsite, this year Bloodstock has introduced some new VIP accommodation choices; Podpads, Bellepads, Octopads and Luxpads. Head over to bloodstock.uk.com for full details and pricing.
As well as a dedicated VIP camping area right behind the main stage compound, ‘proper’ toilet facilities, complimentary hot showers and the infamous ‘Serpents Lair’ VIP bar, featuring 90+ guest ales and ciders to sample, Bloodstock also offers a range of additional entertainment exclusive to the Serpents Lair experience. While the regulars all know its worth, if you’re new to the Serpents Lair, here’s the basics of the VIP camping experience at Bloodstock;
Private entrance with free parking close to your camping area
Party in the VIP bar with some of the artists performing this year
Priority access to the band signing tent (except headline acts)
Late night entertainment with guest DJs
24 hr hospitality staff to take care of your needs
10% discount voucher on Bloodstock merchandise purchased at the festival

Access to the festival site from midday Thursday through Monday

Already bought your standard weekend ticket and want to upgrade to VIP? No problem! Just buy the upgrade from the Bloodstock storefront on the website.
The very popular Deposit Scheme (allowing you to break your ticket payment over three instalments) will be announced and ready for sign up in the New Year. This scheme is not however, available for VIP packages.
With the three 2014 headliners now announced, the event is shaping up to be the strongest yet. Friday night’s bill toppers are New Orleans sludgemeisters, Down. Joining them to head up Saturday night are black metal overlords, Emperor and closing out proceedings on Sunday are the mighty thrash legends, Megadeth. Also announced so far are Amon Amarth, Obituary, Crowbar, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Carcass, Prong, Children Of Bodom, Saxon, Decapitated, Flotsam and Jetsam, Primordial and Evil Scarecrow. More bands will be announced shortly.
