Bloodstock Launch Ticket Deposit Scheme

Monday, 06 January 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Bloodstock have launched a deposit scheme to help you spread the burden of paying for your 2014 weekend ticket. Now you can secure your wristband for 2014’s heaviest festival for three incremental payments of forty-odd quid. Much more manageable than forking out a lump sum after you’ve spent all your funds on Christmas gifts and New Year booze!

Festival goers will have a 3-month window (9am on January 6 until midnight on March 7) to subscribe to the scheme, with the initial payment being taken on the day they sign up. The deal breaks down as follows:

1st payment - £49 (includes booking fee) required on the day of sign up.
2nd payment - £44 - debited from your account on March 31.
3rd payment – £44 (+ postage) - debited from your account on May 1.

Payments will be debited by bank transfer automatically on the designated days, so the buyer doesn't have to worry about accidentally missing a payment. For full details on how to sign up click here.

If you want your ticket in hand right away, they’re available now priced £130 plus fees for a 4-day Thursday to Sunday weekend pass with camping. VIP tickets and upgrades are also now available. Further details available over at Bloodstock's official website.

With the three 2014 headliners now announced, the event is shaping up to be the strongest yet. Friday night’s bill toppers are New Orleans sludgemeisters, Down. Joining them to head up Saturday night are black metal overlords, Emperor and closing out proceedings on Sunday are the mighty thrash legends, Megadeth. Also announced so far are Amon Amarth, Obituary, Crowbar, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Carcass, Prong, Children Of Bodom, Saxon, Decapitated, Flotsam & Jetsam, Primordial and Evil Scarecrow. More bands will be announced shortly.

Bloodstock will be held at Catton Park, Derbyshire from August 7 to August 10 2014. Keep up to date with the very latest at Bloodstock official sites, Facebook and Twitter.
