Patti Russo, perhaps best known as Meat Loaf's female lead vocalist, has announced her first run of solo shows in the UK for April.
Russo has in the past performed with Cher, Meat Loaf and Queen and starred in the musicals We Will Rock You and Notre-Dame de Paris.
After parting ways with Meat Loaf in the summer of 2013, Russo is stepping out for her first solo UK tour. She wrote:
"Well, it’s FINALLY happening!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Excited, Nervous, Jumping, Freaking. You name it, I feel it !!! First gig is at The Brook in Southampton, April 10, with more to follow…..Feels like a runaway train! I’ll fill you in a bit later, as I am already late for a meeting !!! Can I just say a HUGE thank you to ALL of you out there. Your letters, messages, inspiring stories, pictures, kind words, ALL OF THE ABOVE, have kept the lamplights burning. I am humbled and blessed and I hope to pay it forward. Again, THANK YOU…..Lotsa Love Always and hope to see you SOON!!!!! XO WOO HOO !!!!!
