Barrence Whitfield & The Savages have announced dates for a May tour of the UK and Ireland.
BarrenceWhitfield and the Savages shot out of Boston in the mid-‘80s. They released several records, toured with the likes of Bo Diddley, Tina Turner, and George Thorogood, and won seven Boston Music Awards. They re-united in 2011 and released latest album, 'Dig Thy Savage Soul', in September last year.
In the spirit of legends such as Little Richard, Wilson Pickett and Solomon Burke, check out Barrence and co. performing The Corner Man on Later……With Jools Holland below.
