The Kooks have lined up four UK shows for May, confirming visits to Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham.
The Brighton four piece recently unveiled a new direction with their new single Down, having worked alongside hip-hop producer Inflo on the track. Vocalist Luke Pritchard, who co-wrote and co-produced the track, said:
"With this record we didn’t do any rehearsing beforehand. I'd write a song with Inflo or on my own, put it up and we’d all play over it. There was a real freedom to the process."
The Kooks have just returned from showcasing new material at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The band's last album, 'Junk Of The Heart', was released in 2011. It was the follow up to 2008's 'Konk' and their 2006 debut 'Inside In/Inside Out'.
