Robert Plant: 'Zero' Chance Of Led Zeppelin Live Reunion

Wednesday, 23 April 2014 Written by Huw Baines

There is "zero" chance of Led Zeppelin playing live again, according to the legendary rock band's frontman, Robert Plant.

Plant dismissed talk of rekindling the band during a BBC radio interview, during which he and Jimmy Page discussed the band's forthcoming reissue series. Zeppelin, who split in 1980 following the death of John Bonham, reformed for a one-off date at London's O2 Arena in 2007.

Page said: "I'm sure people would love to hear it. I'm not the one to be asking, I don't sing." Plant then said "zero" while rolling his eyes, according to the BBC.

The reissues will begin to arrive on June 2, with 'Led Zeppelin', 'Led Zeppelin II', and 'Led Zeppelin III' remastered by Page and featuring archive material. The duo also revealed a demo version of Whole Lotta Love and a take on Key to the Highway, which will form part of the packages, during their radio spot.

"I don't want to die and have somebody else do it," Page said of the new releases. "I'm authoritative about what was done in the first place."
