Hell To Support Saxon On December UK Tour

Monday, 28 April 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Hell are confirmed to play alongside Saxon on a two-week long UK tour this winter.

Saxon will return to the UK this December as part of their Warriors Of The Road - 35th Anniversary World Tour, with a finale at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 13. Hell guitarist and producer, Andy Sneap has this to say about the announcement:

"It's a great honour to announce that HELL will be main support to the mighty Saxon on their UK run of dates throughout December. Having recently worked with the guys on Sacrifice, Unplugged and Strung Up and St Georges Day - Live in Manchester, we have often talked about the chance of both bands playing together. I think I can safely say that Saxon played a huge part in all our musical upbringing, I personally first saw them back in 83 on The Eagle Has Landed tour so, to now get the chance to go out around the uk as special guests is absolutely fantastic and a great chance to bring the theatrics of our latest album Curse and Chapter into the live domain."

Regarded as one of the UK's premier heavy metal bands, Saxon released 'Sacrifice', their 20th studio album, last year.
