Holly Johnson has announced UK dates for his Dancing With No Fear Tour.
The former Frankie Goes To Hollywood frontman and songwriter will appear in the UK this October, taking in seven dates, marking the 30th anniversary of Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s #1 debut album 'Welcome To The Pleasuredome'.
While Holly has been performing at UK festivals in recent years, the newly announced dates will be his first full solo tour.
Speaking about the dates, Holly says:
“Since 2011 I have been performing at one or two festivals each Summer here in the UK, I realised how enjoyable it is to sing the songs that I have written, and look forward to performing material from my new album.
This will be my first solo tour since the final Frankie Goes To Hollywood shows in 1987. I’m looking forward to singing some of those songs again, as well as songs from my solo albums ‘Blast’, ‘Dreams That Money Can’t Buy’ and ‘Soulstream’.
I’m really excited to be able to play songs that written throughout my career which spans more years than I care to mention. Being able to tour as a solo artist in the 21st Century with a back catalogue and new material is a very privileged position to be in.”
