Upon A Burning Body Announce New Album And Reschedule November Tour Dates

Wednesday, 09 July 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Upon A Burning Body will release their third studio album, 'The World is My Enemy Now', on August 11 via Sumerian Records.

Two new tracks from the album were released online last week, Red Razor Wrists and ScarsSpeaking about the record, vocalist Danny Leal said:

“This new album is the answer to everyone who said we couldn’t succeed and to everyone who has attacked us. We've had to fight for what we believe in and have been held down for too long, ‘The World Is My Enemy Now’.  It has the best elements of the last two records with the mindset of pushing the limits and stepping it up to a new level across the board. This record has everything and really shows the dynamics of UABB.

“We want to leave our definitive mark on the scene with this record and want to be remembered as one of the greatest metal bands of our time.”

The album announcement follows news that the band will embark on their first ever headline tour of the UK this November as part of the inaugural Download Freezes Over package. Due to scheduling issues - namely the band now touring the US with Asking Alexandria - the dates have been rescheduled with tickets to the new shows remaining valid.
