Gruff Rhys Shares Lost Tribes Video

Friday, 26 September 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Gruff Rhys has unveiled the video for Lost Tribes, the third single from his critically acclaimed 2014 album, 'American Interior'.

Lost Tribes is a song about the 18th century explorer John Evans' misguided quest to find a lost Welsh tribe in America, thought to be descendants of the mythical 12th century prince, Madog. In the clip, directed by Dylan Goch, Gruff dresses for the wilderness in the guise of a Welsh radical, sartorially inspired in particular by the druid and Chartist Dr. William Price. Evans is represented by a felt avatar.

Having just wrapped up a UK tour, Gruff will be back in December for sold out dates in Dublin and Cardiff.

Gruff Rhys Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat December 06 2014 - DUBLIN Pepper Canister Church
Thu December 18 2014 - CARDIFF Sherman Theatre
Fri December 19 2014 - CARDIFF Sherman Theatre
Sat December 20 2014 - CARDIFF Sherman Theatre
