Following the huge demand for their three shows at Glasgow's King Tut's next month, the band will visit Newcastle, London, Wolverhampton, Nottingham and Manchester before a homecoming show in Glasgow between March 23 and 28. Tickets are on sale at 9am on October 31.
In addition, the band will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, 'Taking On The World', with a reissue on October 27. The reissue consists of three discs, including original album, B-sides, rarities and BBC sessions.
Vocalist Dante Gizzi says:
"It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since we recorded ‘Taking On The World’ in Park Lane Studios. So proud of what we achieved with that album and just so happy that it’s been given a proper re-release. Playing the Barrowlands once again will definitely have a homecoming feeling for all of us. Some of the best memories I've had performing come from playing there. It will especially be poignant as it will coincide with the release of our new album. We can't wait”.
GUN are currently working on a new album which is set for release in early 2015.
