The Horrors Brothers Start New Label Raft Records

Wednesday, 14 January 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

The Horrors' Faris and Tarik Badwan have started their own record label, Raft Records.

In a recent interview with NME, the brothers revealed the plans for their new venture. Their first release will be a split 7" titled 'Raft Records EP', due in February. It will include four bands, Skinny Girl Diet, Puff, Jet Black and Niqab.

Talking with NME, Faris said:

I think it's quite easy for bands to lament the state of modern music, but there is always good stuff going on. Now more than ever, people can record music with the means available to them. It's easy and it's accessible and you can start a label and it's not that difficult. We had this idea a few months ago and now our first record is pressed.
