Ash, British Sea Power and Pulled Apart By Horses To Headline Long Division Festival

Long Division has revealed the first 30 acts for the Wakefield festival's 2015 line up, including headliners Ash, British Sea Power and Pulled Apart By Horses.

Joining the headliners are Fat White Family, The Lovely Eggs, Boxed In, Menace Beach, Brawlers, The Burning Hell, Withered Hand, Tom Williams and the Boat, Rozi Plain, Tuff Love, CryBabyCry, Her Name Is Calla, Sam Airey, Algernon Doll, The Incredible Magpie Band, Seazoo, The Ainsley Band, Forever Cult, Thomas Wilby Gang, NARCS, The Do's, Fur Blend, Bi-Lingual, Charlie Padfield, Kleine Schweine  and Loz Campbell.

This is the festival's fifth birthday and organisers will celebrate by playing host to 90 bands across seven venues in Wakefield city centre from June 12-14.

British Sea Power will kick off the festivities on the Friday night with a show at the Unity Works. Ash will then headline the Saturday, while Sunday sees a live recording album session with The Ainsley Band in association with Greenmount Studios.

Ash's Rick McMurray discussed the festival :

We’re really excited to be back on the road this year with a new record and to be playing clubs and festivals again. The new tracks are sounding great and we can’t wait for people to hear them along with our hits that we still love to play. By the time we get to Long Division Festival in Wakefield we’ll be fully firing.
