Du Blonde has unveiled the video for her single Black Flag.
The track is taken from the Newcastle artist's debut album as Du Blonde, 'Welcome Back To Milk', which is due for release May 18 and was produced by Bad Seeds and Grinderman member Jim Sclavunos.
The video for the track was filmed at Joshua Tree in the Mojave desert, with the help of her mum, Christine Jeans, who was behind the camera. The video was also directed and produced by Du Blonde. Discussing the concept she said:
"We filmed the footage in 40 degree heat while we played Beyonce out of the car stereo. A lot of the record is written about situations and people in Los Angeles so it made sense to incorporate the scenery in which a lot of those stories played out."

Following the release of her album, Du Blonde has lined up a UK tour in June. She will kick things off at Brighton's Green Door Store on June 3. Following that she will call at London, Leeds, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester and Glasgow. The tour ends at The Cluny in Newcastle on June 11. Tickets are on sale now.
