Du Blonde - AKA Beth Jeans Houghton - is an English singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Born in 1990, she's known for her psychedelic brand of folk and pop, which has been given names like 'wonky-pop' and 'freak folk'.
Originally performing under her full real name, backed by the band Hooves of Destiny, Houghton would put out her first LP, 'Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose', in 2012. However, after deciding to go solo and change her name to Du Blonde, she reintroduced herself with a new album, 'Welcome Back to Milk', in May 2015. She started releasing new music in 2018 in the form of singles Holiday Resort and Buddy, and now Du Blonde has confirmed UK tour dates for February 2019.
